8th Grade CPOP Volleyball
It’s been an amazing experience to coach Max and his CPOP volleyball team since they were third graders in 2019.
Playing volleyball and coaching it require different skill sets, and taking on this challenge was so rewarding. The first year was truly similar to herding cats, but I witnessed tremendous growth over the past 6 seasons, and I think they have truly learned to love the sport which was always my primary goal.
A few have joined club teams, most play sand volleyball together over the summer and all of the CPOP boys decided to play together on a rec league the final months before they all go off to different high schools. It’s awesome to know that they will continue to play this fun sport!
