Both Ethan and Max love to dance. Granted we use the word dance, loosely…it might be better described as contorting of the body or waving of the arms…other times, just jumping around or spinning. In any case, I love watching them dance and usually it’s hard to catch on video because they both stop as soon as I start recording.
That said, I will probably laugh until I cry every time I watch this particular video of Max dancing to Coldplay in his diaper captured when he was supposed to be in bed.
It might not be appreciated by the untrained eye, but I think the best part of the video is about 12 seconds in when Max stops and tries to position his left fingers to mimic his right so he can rock out appropriately. However, he eventually realizes he doesn’t quite have grasp of the necessary fine motor skills to do so and moves on with his “Elaine dancing” tribute.

What a wonderful dance routine, so coordinated with fingers, hands and legs in motion. For your information, as a lad, I took lessons at Arthur Murray’s studio. So, if Maxie would like to achieve a higher dance level, I could show him a few steps to add to his repertoire. Love, Grandpa Tom
