In and out of weeds and dirt.
squealing, laughing, getting hurt.
Arms held out for loves and hugs.
Tiny fingers finding bugs.
Rough and tumble, sweet and shy.
Snuggling for a lullaby.
Who could name the countless joys
That come from raising little boys.
Max has captured our hearts with his one-of-a-kind personality, budding sense of humor and crazy antics. He chose to celebrate his comic book hero-themed 5th birthday at Scooter’s Jungle – an indoor arena full of playground equipment, blow-up slides, zip lines and bounce houses. A little boy’s paradise! He invited his best buddy Walker, neighbor Maxwell, friends Maggie and Ethan plus all his new TK classmates. Of course big brother Ethan had a few friends there as well.
While Max is getting a little better at being the center of attention, he still doesn’t really dig it. He let everyone sing happy birthday at his party, but at school his teacher Ms. Gualano asked if the class could sing happy birthday and he said no. She then asked if they could “whisper sing” while he held her hand, and he said OK.
Baby steps 🙂
It’s been such a fun year with this wild child.
