February was a fun month! We started off with our annual Superbowl Party where Ethan proceeded to be a little mac-daddy and put the moves on our friend’s daughter Allie.

I had promised Ethan there would be at least one warm day in February (didn’t you know that moms can control the weather?), well lucky for me there were a few beautiful days to enjoy some sunshine and outdoor fun. The boys and I snuck out one afternoon and had a little picnic in our backyard “fort” – just something Ethan and I had both taken for granted last spring and summer….and to be honest we BOTH missed it! This time Max got to join us for his first visit to the fort.

Eric and I also traveled to Mexico with Scotty, Katie, Alyssa and a few of Scotty’s friends for his 30th birthday. We left the boys with Grammie and tried not to miss them too much. We had a great time (except for the small detail that 8 of the 9 of us traveled home with the Mexican Stomach Monster in our bellies). Nonetheless, great memories had!
