As long as I can remember, I knew that I wanted to be a mom. Yet, I could not truly appreciate motherhood….nor the complete, unconditional and fierce love a parent has for their child – until I experienced it for myself. And just like so many moms before me, I now understand a mother’s love.
When Ethan was born, I remember how quickly and deeply Eric and I fell in love with a tiny little person we were only getting to meet for the very first time. And then we joyfully relived these feelings when we welcomed Maxwell almost four years later. Our hearts and joy doubled in one day!
We have learned so much from you both, yet I feel we have so much more to experience and learn. We are so blessed, so lucky, so proud and head-over-heels in love with you two boys. You bring such joy into my life that I owe it to you to keep a journal of your childhood stories, antics and experiences. I do not want to forget a single moment of this very fleeting time in our lives. I want you to truly understand how much you are loved and cherished by your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends.
We love you, Ethan and Max!
