Lizzy made her (fifth?) visit to CA for spring break 2013. We were thrilled to have family celebrate Easter with us again! Alyssa had her first (and very successful) Stand-Up Paddle Board lesson in Marina del Rey.
We of course visited our diner of choice, Swingers with Effie and Maggie, but also found a new vegan restaurant Real Food Daily that holds lots of promise for future visits! We took Ethan to the Getty and tried to fed Lorikeets at the Aquarium. We dined on crepes and made a pit stop at the Pier before getting our fortunes read by a very loony psychic. (It was just for fun, but in the end it was more a lengthy therapy session for the psychic.) The only redeeming value was that she foretold that Alyssa was going to have children in the future. Hearing those words was worth the time spent! Love you, Lizzy!
The boys had a grand time coloring eggs for Easter [note to self — get 4 dozen eggs next year — they go FAST]. And they had so much fun hunting for eggs Easter morning — both inside the house and outside at St. Martin’s after mass. Easter cards and treats in the mail were such a special treat!
