First grade was so much fun! Highlights included trying new sports, improving in both piano and choir, testing video games for Activision, forging stronger friendships, and greatly fueling his passion for reading. In fact, he sums up his first-grade year with this simple, but telling sentiment, “I LOVE to read!”

SMT Sports Day 2014
Eric and I love SMT Sports Day. We both take off work to cheer on the kiddos and volunteer with the other parents. The entire school is divided into three teams for the day of competition. Ethan and the white team rocked the house, especially in this gripping match of tug-of-war below.

WOW…………so much to cover in Ethan’s first grade class. It looks like a super school where they have lots of fun along with learning. I luved Max’s numbers book and his Lego building. A master builder indeed he is along with his brother Ethan. I am impressed that he likes the “green juice.
