Autumn - the season of transition and time for school bells once again!

This year little brother Max gets to join big brother Ethan at St. Martin of Tours for the inaugural year of their Transitional Kindergarten class with Ms. Gualano and Ms. McGuire. We are all very excited despite the tears during photos.

So what to do when the mood sours during first day of school photo opp?! Rock the sunglasses, of course! (Moms are so good at having all sorts of tricks up their sleeves, aren’t we?)

I think they turned out pretty good considering the pouts and teary eyes. And all was right with the world when we saw our buddy Walker at the gate. They walked in hand-in-hand. My heart kind of melts even as I remember the sweetness of this moment.

Where are the Kleenex when you need them…my own waterworks just turned on….Sniff…sniff.

Ethan is excited to see his classmates and signed up for flag football through St. Martin and baseball with West LA Little League. I volunteered to be the room mom for Max’s class, so I’ll be spending a lot of free time up at SMT which makes both Max and mommy very happy!

Ready or not for another school year, here we go!!
