Our annual Florida vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Danker was full of fun and memories as usual, but this year was even more special as we had Tim, JJ, Emmie and Sophie join us for part of the week!
While we had to forgo our usual road trip in lieu of a fun flight, I am hoping that next year will be MUCH easier with our little travel buddy Max. He’s a handful on land, but even more so in the air. He absolutely loves to watch airplanes (and gets very excited as you’ll see in the short clip below). Too bad he doesn’t show the same excitement ON the plane. Well…guess it’s just a different type of excitement.
Ethan swam like a fish with his cousins – afternoons were filled with picnics, beach trips, canon balls and squirt gun wars. Max, while not an extreme water baby, really enjoyed the sand and running back and forth around the porches. The big news: after refusing to try meat of any kind for months (despite MANY attempts), finally ate some Canadian bacon for Papa.
The sand was so white and the Gulf water was so clear…much warmer than the Pacific. It was a treat to be able to get into the water and not shiver afterward.
The boys truly enjoyed spending time with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt JJ, Uncle Tim and of course their beautiful cousins Emmie and Sophie. Thank you for such a memorable week!

Truly a very enjoyable and heartwarming time! Thanks for all the travel trouble that you endured to make this vacation possible. The boysand girls are a pure joy and the chance for them to play with Emmie and Sophie and the rest of the family is truly special!
Sublime will always hold a special place in my heart! The beach, the pool, the porch and swing and now the parks.
What a fun time was had by all!!!!!!!!!!! I luv Max picking the sand from his toes…….and Papa Dave luvs his grands. The boys are certainly growing up. Seems like they enjoyed the company of their girl cousins. Too bad ya’ll aren’t able to enjoy their companionship all the time.
