In March we welcomed Grandma and Grandpa Danker for another fun-filled visit including a tour of Rodeo Drive for Rosi and a trip to the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA for Dave and the boys!

Grandma and Grandpa’s trip was ever so timely as I was going to sneak away for a girls weekend — first time I had been gone from the boys for more than 24 hours. I had found out in December that Ginger, one of my best friends in the entire world was moving overseas (that makes for 3 close friends who live too far away), so I had to monopolize some time with her before her big move.

We managed to eek one last weekend together — with an amazing unexpected bonus companion — our friend Andrea who flew 20+ hours to join us from Melbourne, Australia for a relaxing weekend at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. It was gorgeous and simply unforgettable. Fabulous food, pampering spa treatments, unbeatable company and amazing scenery as a backdrop to it all. No deadlines, timelines or responsibility. With so much to catch up on, we could have stayed and talked for weeks straight if given the chance. Miss you both.
