The annual St. Martin of Tours Carnival was a big success for many reasons: Ethan loved running around with his 3rd grade buddies, our Gourmet to Go Booth raised several thousand dollars (I was so happy to pass the auction and raffle baton to another mom), and little TK Max was chosen as King of the Carnival!

Yes, selected as the youngest SMT Carnival king to date, Max’s name was selected from all of the SMT student body to have the privilege to be first in line to any and all carnival rides (and get to wear a cape and crown, of course)! It was actually a wonderful way to get Max to not be so self-conscious about attention. This was the same boy that would cry if people were looking at him…and he refused to let his classmates sing happy birthday just 2 months prior. He was a little shy of this extra attention in the beginning, but definitely warmed up to everyone calling him King of the Carnival!
