We’ve had a sweet, but swiftly fleeting summer. Eric celebrated another birthday and took up rock climbing, Ethan graduated from his Montessori preschool and I survived another triathlon. Eric and I gave stand up paddle boarding a go, Max started talking (finally!), Ethan learned to swim and I managed a trip to St. Louis by myself with the boys. Whew! As this productive, memorable summer comes to a close, I feel a photo laden recap is in order!
Here’s our summer 2012 top 10:
10. Building forts in the family room and Skylanders (video game that Ethan adores)
9. Ethan’s first Vacation Bible School (he loved it!)
8. Anything on the beach, but especially riding along the strand (beach bike path)
7. Swim lessons and swimming with friends
6. Playing with the water table on the roof
5. Ice cream at Sweet Rose Creamery
4. Kite flying with friends at the park
3. New hiking trails
2. Visits from Scotty, Katie, Lili and Kaitlyn
1. Seeing family and friends during our trip “home” to St. Louis
(and the Tour de Kirkwood Triathlon)!
